The Commissioner who informed the participants that in no distant time, no unverified vehicles shall ply the Anambra routes, pointed
that all these policies are geared towards reducing the number of accidents on our roads which in turn saves life of Ndi Anambra and other road users.

Speaking on behalf of the Urban Drivers Union, the Chairman, Mr Nnamdi Okafor appreciated the efforts of the state government in ensuring an accident free Anambra. He submitted that proper documentation of vehicles was important in achieving it. He further appealed that such centres be located at least one per senatorial zone to allow for more proximity for drivers.

In his separate speech, the Director of Transport, Students Union Government, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Ogalanya Udoka, thanked the governor, the commissioner and their team, for their efforts in sanitizing our roads, pointing that as students, these computerised testing for vehicles would help reduce accidents around the school community.
