Popular Make Up Artist, Bimpe Onakoya Robbed At Gunpoint In Johannesburg

Popular makeup artist, Bimpe
Onakoya was robbed at gunpoint by
hoodlums after arriving the city of
Johannesburg on a Lagos flight.

According to her, she was accosted
while driving into the city.
Recounting her ordeal, Bimpe penned
this down on her Instagram page:
My hubby and I were robbed at gun
point this morning in Jo'burg, less
than 1 hour after touch down, they
crossed our car, four guys came out
armed to the teeth with
sophisticated looking guns, they
emptied us, took everything, my
makeup box, my camera and lenses,
2 Mac laptops, all our clothes, our
international passports, so right now
we don't have identity in a foreign
land, the police have been wonderful
to us, still trying to find a solution to
this mess!!! #strandedinjoburg!!
She later posted a follow up message
which read:
This has been one of the longest
days I have had in a while! But you
know through all, God always places
help around for his own children. My
hubby and I are fine and unharmed.
Apart from some initial confusion,
the Nigerian consulate has been
very helpful to us.

They have
accommodated us, given us funds to
buy phones and a change of clothes
and even fed us. May God bless
them real good. We are also grateful
to the South African Police that
made sure we were attended to, and
the officer that also borrowed me his
phone to make the previous post so
that our loved ones will know the
situation. We are moving past this
traumatizing experience with
thankfulness to God for allowing us
to come out with out lives. Thank
you all so much for the show of love.
We really appreciate you.
