He is currently linked with Norwich City FC, Stoke
City FC and Swansea FC all in the United Kingdom.
Some Chinese clubs have also indicated interest in
Ujah and are also ready to pay him about $300,000
monthly but he's said to have turned down the offer
on the premise that the Chinese league is only a
money making league and not good enough for a
young career person like him.

This coming summer is surely a test year for the
family members and his managers because they
would have to decide whether to allow him become
rich in few seasons or play and become legendary in
the world's football.

Tony Ujah is the pioneer coordinator and sponsor of
Anthony Ujah Grass-root Football Tournament, the
biggest private sports tournament in Benue State
after Mark D'Ball. The aim and objectives of the
foundation is to unite all Idomas, train and pick up
would-be-better-footballer(s) for sponsorship abroad
where they could also find their own greener
pastures.

Tony Ujah is one of those that believe so much in the
Idoma project. His deep concern for the growth and
development of Idoma land is evident in the fact that
he comes home after every football season every
year to handle the Anthony Ujah Grassroot Football
Tournament himself and thence pick whom to take
with him overseas for continuum. Tony has vowed
that if he spends 20 years overseas, he would raise
20 great footballers of Idoma origin who would be
absolutely doing well all over the world.

He solely renovated the hospital opposite Otukpo
Police Station after seeing the dilapidated state of
the hospital during one of his home visits. He single-
handedly bought a unit of 200KVA transformer and
electrified the whole streets behind Otukpo VIP
lounge with his personal income to the tune of over
N6.5 million
Tony Ujah is a sponsor of Idoma Widows. He
empowers them through his mother, Lady Victoria
Ego Ujah (Mrs).

Tony Ujah is putting some smile on somebody's face
somewhere, everyday. He's Idoma and the Idoma
nation is proud of him. However, Tony Ujah is the
quiet type and has done a lot underground. New-
Nigeria Reporters correspondents who visited the
Idoma-born upcoming football legend were told a few
about his good work for the Idoma people due to his
quiet nature.
